Digital world-serious?


Invitations on facebook marked some 50 turning up at the venue people numbering 10 was hard to find. When a friend who marked coming and was missing was reached he said he just clicked yes as it was invitation from friend and killer was his answer-he had not read it.

Wow! The world is going crazy on digital. Here we are who take invitations from digital media as not serious ones and they expect some confirmation from organizer like in personal meeting or thru phone call. Still we see hard copy invitations authentic while ones which come thru wires-fake or not so serious that you should consider going.

There is a funny incident which happened to me recently. After confirming in google map I showed driver we need to go that place. My friend who was travelling with me called another friend to talk with driver and tell him in local language where we are going. When I asked why did he call friend when cab driver already got the clue where he should be heading, just to reconfirm was a pat response.

Well for our part of the world digital is more of a gimmick. People still lack trust to digital compared to meeting in person or even to calls. I still remember people getting ready a week in advance for making trunk calls. Getting themselves in good attire with even some perfumes just for a phone callm. When these things are done in more convenient way in a palm held mobile device we still lack trust. 

There are some more examples. Peron with a 6s iphone was searching piece of paper and a pen to write address. Why don’t you write on notepad on your mobile, I poked him. I find it easy was answer. Same friend was getting restless when we were walking on place unknown to us guided by maps.me

After demonetization in India even autowalahs started mobile money. During these adverse time for consumers digital made lives easier. This is a solid proof that it is not future but present. 

And guys let’s not just click yes yes but spare time to read what it really meant. Clicking going and not coming is not support but a betrayal. We have may be option or share on our wall so that other interested will know.

पीडाका पहाड पेल्न पिएँ

दूनियाको नजरमा शुक्रवार छल्न पिएँ

आफू भित्रै जल्न अनि तिमीलाई छ्ल्न पिएँ।।

पिउदिन भन्दा भन्दै पिएँ

तितो छ निल्दिन भन्दै पिएँ

आफू आफै नहुन पिएँ

सुख दुख हैन रितिन पिएँ ।।।

प्रत्येक प्रश्न पन्छाउन पिएँ

तिम्रो मादकता अब पाउँदिन तेही बचाउन पिएँ

पलपलमा जीवन जिउन पिएँ

उदाङिएको देहको घाउ सिउन पिएँ  ।।।।

माफ गर प्रिय मैले आज पिएँ ।।।।

मोबाइल दिने निर्णयको यत्रो विरोध किन?

मेयर सपथग्रहण पश्चात साइरनसँगै हुँइकिएर कार्यालय प्रवेश गर्नु ठीक थिएन । मेयरका हैसियतमा यो सुविधा उपयोग गर्न पाइँदैन थियो, गरियो, समाचार आए, विरोध भए । अब फेरि मोबाइलको कुरो उठेको छ ।

नगरपालिकाका पदाधिकारीलाई सोझै आफ्ना कुरा राख्न पाउनु नगरवासीको लागि खुसीको कुरो हो । ढल जाम भएको, सडक थोत्रिएको, खाल्डिएको, पानीका समस्या लगाएत दैनिकीका यायवत् दुखलाई सोझै फोन गरेर जानकारी दिनु, प्रगतीको खवर लिनपाउनु सुखद पक्ष हो नि र नगरपालिकाको जवाफदेहिताको नमूना पनि । अनि नतिजा सम्म पनि नकुरी मोबाइल खरिद निर्णयको विरोध गर्नु कसरी सही होला? पदाधिकारीले नगरपालिकाको बजेटबाट बोक्नुहुन्न भनेर चिच्याइरहँदा विगतमा फोहरको सफाइ, खाल्डा पुर्ने वा अन्य कामहरु तपाइँहाम्रो जानकारीमा नआई मोबाइलमा परिवर्तन हुन्थे भनेर विचार गरौं । हाकाहाकी भनेर किनेँ भन्ने निर्णयलाई प्रोत्साहित गर्न नि जरुरी छ नभा अनेक बहानामा मोबाइल त किनिन्थे नै हामीले सुँइकाे समेत पाउँदैन थियौं । Read more

Part of problem or solution??

A decision from court was received. Good thing decision came after a long wait. And here came crux of the matter which was home of all problems. Decision was interpreted on such contrasting ways that both conflicting parties were happy thinking decision on their favor.

Hmm..why decisions of court can’t come in easy understable form? Hiring another law practisioner just to know what court decided is not so funny.

Leave court come to medical. When printed decision is not understandable how can you expect handwriting of doctors be readable. Well medicines name can be traced by pharmacists but what s/he identified the problem and his plan of cure are right of patients. This is rediculous. 

Things and matters of public consumption should be clear and understandable even by 5th grader. If we are seeing this mess as opportunity to make money then we are not having spirit of business. Grow up guys and think big.

While we don’t get tired saying we are for soltion let’s do honest review whether we are part of problems or not???

रोयल केउरेनी

राजाको शासन अन्त्य पछि एक हिसाबले नाम फेर्ने होड नै चल्यो । अगाडि ‘राज’ अनि ‘रोयल’ लाई लुतो सरी फाल्न सरकार तल्लिन थियो । जनतामा भने नाम फेर्दैमा केही हुँदैन कामले फेरिनुपर्छ भन्ने कुरोले जरो गाडेको थियो ।

यही ताका हुनुपर्छ नयाँ नाम सुनिन थालियो । लोकबिलोक भयो राजबिराज भन्ने जोक पनि धेरैले सेयर गरेका थिए । रोयल हटाए पछि स्ट्याग मात्र रहने भयो पियक्कड साथीहरु पनि चिन्तित नै थिए ।

अनि यो नाम फेर्ने बकम्फुसे कामको सांकेतिक विरोध स्वरुप हुन सक्छ ठाउँको नामको अघि रोयल लेखेर धस्काउने चलन नै चलाए विशेष त गाडी चलाउने साथीहरुले । सार्वजनिक सवारीका पछि आफ्नो ठामको नाम जोडेर लेख्ने । रोयल जनकपुर, सिन्धुली, काभ्रे यस्तै यस्तै । हुनत रोयल राजपरिवारसँग मात्र नजोडिएर विशेष भन्ने पनि बुझिन्छ ।

अब रोयल भन्ने शब्द ठूला स्थानहरुबाट लोकलाइज भएछ । ठूला ठाउँ तेसै पनि पपुलर नै हुन्छन् नि । यो पोष्टमा भएको फोटोमा रोयल केउरेनी छ । अब केउरेनी कता छ कसरी जान्नु? नामसँगै साथीहरुले नक्सा नि राखिदिए अरुलाई पुग्न सजिलो हुने थियो ।

Why are we laid back?

Laid back does not sound positive let us ask why are we relaxed?

When people are on road around 0945 hrs to catch office for 1000 hrs and there is a traffic congestion which seems not to open by another half an hour we show no sign of hurry. Well to be cool in all situation is great on itself but being super cool and not responding on time is traumatic.

Lets argue on names now!

What’s in name?

Name is your brand, your identity and pin code.

After demolition of monarchy from the country we tried changing names sitting on palaces built by Rana who were also washed some 66 years ago. They were feudal, they were anti democracy elements but still the structures mostly of government offices were built by them. And at present even not being able to take good care of those infrastructures we are busy changing names.

काठमाण्डौं महानगरपालिका नवनिर्वाचित मेयरले पदको सपथग्रहण पश्चात साइरन भएको गाडी कार्यालय प्रवेश गरेछन् । पदका हिसावले महानगरपालिकाका मेयरको सवारीमा यो सुविधा छैन । साइरनै ठोकेर हुइँकिनु पहिलो दिन मै अलि भद्दा देखियो ।
